Problem
A growing healthcare office was using an outdated firewall lacking proper segmentation and modern remote access capabilities. The existing network posed security risks, with no VLAN separation between departments and no secure remote access for remote staff such as doctors and administrators.
Solution
We deployed a next-generation firewall with advanced security features, including SSL VPN to enable secure remote access. VLANs were implemented to segment traffic between departments. Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) were configured to detect and block suspicious activity, significantly improving network security posture and compliance readiness for healthcare data handling.
